Existing History – Alcazaba Cadima

Granada, Spain is home to the famous Alhambra, a Moorish fortress-palace built for the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada in the 13th century. But before the Alhambra was built, the Nasrid’s predecessors, the Zirids, had their own fortress across the Darro River in the Albaicín neighborhood – the Alcazaba Cadima.
